Aegis Capital Corp. announced that it has added an advisor from UBS, where he had about $350 million in client assets.
The advisor, William “Jeffrey” Carlton, is based in Melville, New York, and has been in the industry since 1983, when he registered with San Diego Securities, according to his BrokerCheck record. Carlton has also been registered with Wheat, First Securities; Dean Witter Reynolds; Lehman Brothers; Citigroup; and UBS, according to his BrokerCheck record.
Carlton “brings an understanding of industry-leading advisory and investment solutions to help his clients meet their goals through comprehensive wealth planning,” Aegis Chief Executive Officer Robert Eide said in a statement accompanying the announcement.
