Mindy Diamond and Louis Diamond Quoted
By Ian Wenik
RIA consulting and recruiting firm Diamond Consultants is keeping things in the family.
The firm’s founder, Mindy Diamond, has elected to relinquish the title of president to her son, Louis, while retaining her CEO role.
Louis Diamond will take over responsibility for Diamond Consultants’ day-to-day operations and advisor consulting practice, the company said.
‘Louis has established himself as a sophisticated consultant and negotiator who embodies our defining value of objectivity,’ Mindy Diamond said. ‘I look forward to continuing our work together as trusted partners and fellow consultants to the industry’s top financial advisors.’
Louis Diamond, who previously served as an executive vice president at Diamond Consultants, has worked in the family business since 2015. He previously spent time as a consultant at EY and at a pair of wirehouses in service and sales roles: UBS Wealth Management and Morgan Stanley.
‘I see tremendous opportunity for growth, both in the potential to enhance and personalize our advisor touchpoints through investments in digital channels, as well as in the expansion of our firm’s consulting capabilities to stay abreast of increasingly relevant industry trends like M&A, succession planning, the breakaway advisor movement, and disruptive technologies,’ Louis Diamond said.
