Mindy Diamond Quoted
By Jason Bisnoff
Gregory Fleming and a team of financial services veterans started Rockefeller Capital Management in 2018 with the backing of private equity giant Viking Global Investors and a unique differentiator, a name synonymous with success and wealth. The firm used that name to power a meteoric rise, attracting 50 teams from 12 different firms and growing to more than $75 billion in client assets in just over three years.
In an exclusive announcement, Forbes has learned that Rockefeller has swung for the fences with its latest addition to the firm’s board, another name synonymous with success, Miami Marlins CEO and New York Yankees Hall of Famer Derek Jeter. The pair have a longstanding relationship, Jeter was a Morgan Stanley client during Fleming’s tenure and moved over to Rockefeller along with the CEO.
There are several options for how Rockefeller could potentially recapitalize. It is no secret that there is a transaction in the offing says Mindy Diamond, CEO of her eponymous recruiting firm Diamond Consultants. However, “what that looks like, and when it happens is anybody’s guess,” she adds.
