Jason Diamond

Vice President, Senior Consultant

A unique vantage point that benefits the advisors he counsels—with a combination of knowledge and empathy that few can claim.

When it comes to due diligence, many advisors find themselves at a point where they’re drowning in details and emotions—wondering which way to turn.

Yet it’s the very space where Jason shines. His natural ability to “connect the dots” is a powerful skill that helps advisors get beyond the minutia and towards gaining clarity on what matters most: The client.

And it’s a skillset he honed during his time at both Merrill Lynch and Morgan Stanley prior to joining Diamond Consultants—and has earned him the ability to gain the trust of the industry’s most sophisticated advisors.

As an Analyst at Merrill Lynch, Jason worked in the Capital Markets Group, originating and syndicating structured investments, and educating the sales team on their products. More recently at Morgan Stanley, Jason served as Vice President on the Structured Investments and Solutions Desk within the Investment Solutions Group, where he led the Pacific Coast sales team to become the top distributor of notes on the Street. He also worked with offshore and ultra-high net worth clients on their complex financial needs, specifically in the area of equity derivatives.

In these roles, Jason gained experience on both sides of the desk—which provided him with a real-world perspective of both clients and advisors, as well as the firms they work for. And it’s this unique vantage point that benefits the advisors he counsels with a combination of knowledge and empathy that few can claim.

Born and raised in New Jersey, Jason currently resides in New York with his wife, Danielle, where he enjoys dining out and rooting for the Yankees and Giants—that is, when he’s not on the links playing a round of golf.

Jason graduated from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia with a Bachelor of Business degree in finance.
