RBC Wealth Management-U.S. has drawn another billion-dollar team from UBS Wealth Management USA, according to an announcement on Monday.
The Heller Stieffel & Noto Wealth Management group, led by Mark H. Heller, Diana Dalton Stieffel and Andrew B. Noto, had managed $1.2 billion and joined RBC on October 30, according to the announcement and registration records. The team also includes support staff Terri Folkins and Colleen Kirkpatrick and has opened a new RBC office in New Orleans, according to the announcement.
“The Heller Stieffel & Noto Wealth Management team is an experienced, highly-respected group with deep roots in the New Orleans community,” Scott Skinner, newly appointed Mountain South divisional director, said in a statement.
Heller first registered 38 years ago with W.S. Griffith & Co. and joined UBS in 2008 from Capital One Investments, according to BrokerCheck.
Stieffel started in 1987 at Lehman Brothers and joined UBS in 2009 from Morgan Keegan & Co., according to the database. Noto has nine years of experience and moved to UBS in 2022 from Planning Associates Wealth Management.
Members of the team did not respond to a request for comment. A UBS spokesperson declined to comment on the departure.
RBC has been one of several beneficiaries as UBS has suffered an increase in advisor departures following compensation changes to its core pay grid announced in November 2024.
