The veteran broker recruiting market showed no signs of cooling off this fall as First Republic Bank’s private wealth unit on Friday landed a $7.5 million solo practitioner from UBS Wealth Management USA in Boston, according to two sources familiar with the move.
In the Boston move, Max Peckler, who had been part of UBS’s Private Wealth Management business focused on ultra-wealthy customers, had been managing $950 million in customer assets, according to two sources familiar with the practice.
Peckler, who had been with UBS since 2003, made the shift along with three client associates: Stephanie E. Oesch, Emily M. Greten and Lillian P. Smith, the people said.
