Another Big Team Bids Farewell to Merrill Lynch, Signs With Sanctuary Wealth

By Ross Snel, Barron's - An advisor team that managed $1.2 billion at Merrill Lynch has left the thundering herd to establish an independent wealth management firm in partnership with Sanctuary Wealth. Led by Bradley Bruce, a veteran of nearly 33 years at Merrill, the four-person team has launched mForce Capital in Fort Worth, Texas. At Merrill, the group was known as Bruce Wealth Management Group.

An advisor team that managed $1.2 billion at Merrill Lynch has left the thundering herd to establish an independent wealth management firm in partnership with Sanctuary Wealth.

Led by Bradley Bruce, a veteran of nearly 33 years at Merrill, the four-person team has launched mForce Capital in Fort Worth, Texas. At Merrill, the group was known as Bruce Wealth Management Group.

MForce marks yet another partnership for Sanctuary, which helps breakaway wirehouse advisors to set up their own firms and provides them with technology and operational support. Including mForce, Sanctuary says it has added $6.5 billion in new assets to its network so far this year. It now has more than 50 partner firms across 20 states advising on $16 billion in assets.
