Composition Wealth, the $9.5bn Los Angeles RIA formerly known as Miracle Mile Advisors, scooped up a pair of firms on Wednesday across two states.
Composition has reeled in Blue Oak Capital, a $289m Menlo Park, Calif.-based RIA, along with Centricity Wealth Management, a $192m firm based in the Columbus, Ohio suburb of Westerville. Specific financial terms of the deals were not disclosed.
Blue Oak Capital was founded in 1999 by Thomas Baker, who is now a partner at Composition. Blue Oak Capital serves a mix of Silicon Valley professionals, executives, entrepreneurs and families, according to Composition.
Blue Oak Capital’s latest Form ADV notes that the firm worked with over 90 high net worth individuals. Baker said in a release that he made the move as a way to access ‘a broader team of specialists’ and double down on client service.
