LPL has added its fifth team to its wirehouse breakaway channel.
The independent broker-dealer said Thursday that ex-RBC Wealth Management advisors George Chardukian, Adam Goldstein and Maria Peralta, have exited the brokerage firm to set up Adara Wealth Management in Tucson, Ariz.
Previously known as the Chardukian-Goldstein-Cox team at RBC, LPL said the three advisors managed roughly $380m in assets at the brokerage firm. One of their former teammates, advisor Randal Cox, remains with RBC.
The advisor trio joined LPL through LPL’s Strategic Wealth Services model, which launched in April. Advisors who join LPL under the program set up their own business entity and use LPL’s corporate RIA, broker-dealer and custodian. LPL in turn gives those advisors transition assistance and ongoing support.
