Raymond James and RBC Wealth Management both poached brokers from Merrill Lynch this week.
Meanwhile, the IC Group has joined RBC in Reno, Nev., according to a press release from RBC. The team includes financial advisors Paul Comcowich, who’s a 24-year veteran of the industry; David Iubelt, who’s been in the industry for 21 years; Clifford Iubelt, an eight-year industry veteran; and Robin Brunson, who’s been in the industry for five years, RBC says.
UBS is increasing its recruiting efforts, offering top advisors deals of up to 550% of annual revenue while targeting experienced private bankers.
Advisors at some of the largest firms in the country are leaving, and not in a trickle. In 2024 alone, more than 9,600 experienced advisors changed firms, according to industry data from Diamond Consultants.
