Sanctuary Wealth, an Indianapolis-based independent broker-dealer and advisory firm, has added another team of UBS Wealth Management USA breakaways, according to an announcement on Friday.

James E. Chiate and Anthony D. Guinane, who were overseeing around $1.2 billion at UBS’s Private Wealth unit for upper-echelon clients, launched Dial Square Private Wealth in Irvine, California, according to the announcement.

Along with support staff Nazgol Nekoomaram and Owen Galasso, who joined them in the move, they were part of a larger group that operated as Wise River Advisors at UBS. The rest of that team, including Chiate’s brother, 28-year industry veteran Craig S. Chiate, remained with the wirehouse.

Chiate and Guinane joined UBS in 2013 from Merrill Lynch and managed $500 million at the time, according to a Reuters report. Michael Goldfader, who joined Sanctuary last year as West Coast Regional Managing Director, had recruited them to UBS, according to the report.

They are at least the third UBS team to join Sanctuary this year.
