A former financial advisor and senior vice president in the wealth management team at UBS has taken the leap into independence by launching her own firm.
Minneapolis based Kristin Larson, CFP, CPWA, has launched NewSpring Wealth Partners under the Sanctuary Wealth network, managing around $200 million in client assets.
“Once I got a glimpse of what is possible in the independent space, I couldn’t unsee how much better I would be able to serve and communicate with clients than continuing to work as an employee,” said Larson. “With Sanctuary, I’ve found a true partner who will support my practice, helping me empower mid-career professionals, especially women, who, like me, are starting on new journeys.”
Larson was with UBS for nine years, mostly with the Carlson Larson Wealth Management group, and before that was a registered client associate with Wells Fargo Advisors, a paraplanner at Ameriprise Financial Services, where she had started her financial services career as office manager.
