Forbes’ listed advisors Jansen and Julie Bailey launched Acunis Wealth Partners with Wells Fargo’s independent channel, FiNet.
Wells Fargo’s FiNet channel offered the pair a full-service, wirehouse-caliber platform on both the investment and banking sides, coupled with the independence they needed to maximize growth and expand the suite of services for their clients.
Jansen and Julie Bailey came to a realization: They were no longer “married” to their business life at UBS.
The husband-and-wife team invested a decade at the firm. Together they built a strong business producing $2.28mm in annual revenue on $271mm in managed assets—success that earned them recognition on Forbes’ Best-in-State list for three consecutive years, as well as other accolades over the years.
Yet they wanted to take ownership and control over the business—and have the freedom to build an infrastructure of support to serve clients in the best manner possible and create a foundation for growth. They saw the potential to communicate more freely with clients, and drive growth through marketing and acquisitions.
Plus, they found the support at UBS insufficient to keep up with the business’s growth and provide the high level of care and service to clients the team needed.
But their entrepreneurial and growth-oriented nature drove them to seek other options that would allow them to fulfill their goals.
That’s when The Baileys connected with Diamond Consultants. They wanted to better understand the waterfall of opportunity that existed for them and how each aligned with their vision for the short and long term.
